Robin’s career path began in the banking industry where she managed accounts payables and receivables for an eighty million dollar, multi divisional company. Robin moved to Fleet Bank where she produced time sensitive, daily, weekly and monthly reports for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Department of Revenue and Child Support Enforcement. This opportunity created a customer focused perspective and was a deadline-oriented position, which demanded accuracy, dedication and effective prioritization for a timely response.
After moving to Pennsylvania where Robin supported the sales and marketing team for a leading healthcare provider and was in charge of monitoring and tracking production and performance of the inside sales representatives and presenting results to senior management with analysis and recommendations of improvements. From here, Robin returned to Boston to become part of an information technology company.
In 1998, Robin joined an IT company where they provided free website hosting to school districts. As an Account Executive, Robin traveled to school districts, across the country, to train faculty on how to use their web-building program. With customer satisfaction an integral part of this role, and an influx of support calls monopolizing executives time, Robin, in a problem solving foresight, used her organizational and streamlining skills to outline support data effectively and designed and proposed an Online Support Center. Robin was promoted to Producer, Online Services and while leading the projects life cycle, she honed her logistics skills and upon implementation of the support center, calls decreased by 70%.
After this positioning assignment, Robin elected to join the energy industry, supporting sales and marketing as an Operations Specialist in charge of monitoring and tracking RFP production, managing budgets and sales incentives and quotas. While in this role, creating marketing materials and managing the customer relationship management systems added to her long list of computer skills.
Robin reentered the corporate world, part time, as an Assistant to the Vice President of Human Resources at RISO, Inc. Here, she practiced her interpersonal skills and dealings with all levels of management. Concurrently, Robin was also working as a Personal Assistant for a senior vice president for a local software company. Based on proven performance, she was offered a full time position by both employers. For the next several years, Robin continued her work as a Personal Assistant and provided personal and professional support around the clock, utilizing her organizational and time management skills to perform effectively.
Currently, Robin has put her skills and expertise to work for her, as a self-employed, freelancer, providing professional and administrative support to individuals, executives and businesses. Her latest assignment was project managing the development of a Venture Capital Fund for a private investment company.
