I worked with a Canadian company for approximately 3 years and my position was that of the Sales and Marketing Manager for the Jamaica region. I registered the company, made contact with potential distributors and convinced one of them to carry our line of products. I obtained the relevant permits from the Ministry of Health so that the product could legally enter Jamaica. All the marketing was done by me and I also provided the staff members of the distribution company with training and strategies to get the products across the island. I believe I am a well rounded person as I have had experience is several areas. Being a Company Secretary has truly opened up the doors to the world of business as that is where everything really started for me. It is an area that requires a great knowledge base about the legalities of operating business and I embraced that and learned all i could over the years. I am now ready for new challenges and prepared to deal with whatever comes.
