    I am a Permanent Resident here and I have lived 25 years of my life in Iran before I immigrate to United States. I graduated with a B.A in English Literature from Shiraz University; I have worked part time and full time as an English teacher, translator and assistant in different schools and agencies. I exhibit many qualities that constitute a cross cultural educator. I spend a considerable amount of my time researching different subjects for my translations and classes, on a daily basis. I currently use a combination of search engines, libraries and sometimes eBooks for my purpose. I also teach English to a variety of learners, coming from different ages and social class; establishing a successful connection with the students while using modern methods of teaching to ensure a live and effective stream of learning. My former Students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening were greatly improved at the end of each semester. I also was an administrative assistant in International Organization of Migration, easing communication between the IOM members and Afghan refugees with oral translations and guidance. My skills in English and oral presentations resulted in a very smooth communication between the refugees and the staff. These positions afforded me the opportunity to have direct interactions with diverse populations of people and therefore helped to foster my skills and knowledge as an educator and an organizer.
