In 2007 I moved to London hoping to challenge myself with new experiences and ideas in a city at the centre of European design.
During my internship with Paul Cocksedge I was encouraged to experiment with materials, shape and light.
His free and intrepid approach to design and making, was inspiring, and while working with him, I became more aware of my own approach towards design.
In 2008 “Styrene” was the culmination of my research into precision melting, creating organic feeling objects from a modular system of strengthened polystyrene.
Subsequently I have worked for BarberOsgerby investigating shapes and their relationship with materials such as wood, metal and stone.
This time gave me the opportunity to improve my ability as a designer and skills with communicate with clients.
Through 2012, while working for United Visual Artists, I have continued to forge connections between design and context.
I collaborate in all aspects of the design process from concept through sketching, 3d and CAD design as well as coordinating the work with colleagues, clients and contractors.
In August 2012 “Floating Point” was launched in Aske Gardens, Shorditch to promote a new shoe design for Nike.
This installation was very well received from the public and had a significant relevance in promoting the Flyknit product.
I am a problem solving orientated person, organised and and reliable.
My goals are to make the clients happy through the realisation of conceptually articulate solutions, producing work that is framed by the context of today.
During my career together with my design skills, I developed PR and communication skills, managing relations between contractors and clients.
Since September 2013 I am based in Italy but I keep working internationally thanks to the experience accumulated in the past few years.
