As a college graduate with a BSBA in Economics from the University of Missouri and industry experience in marketing, advertising, and sales, I believe I am a strong candidate to take on many professional positions.
Working at the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) for example, some of my responsibilities included implementing in-house advertising methods to generate new ways to market the organization’s image as the leading independent news organization in the Southeastern European region through social media and direct marketing campaigns. I sharpened my sales skills by selling advertising space on their online and print publications to multinational corporations and NGOs. At First Beat Media as an Ad Ops Manager, I worked on profitable content networking campaigns and was promoted to lead a team of 4 to scale the operation. I have both interest and experience in working in a collaborative environment, and feel that I would be a great asset for these reasons.
