Result: New organisation fully designed taking into account current and future projected demand, leading to a reduction of ~400 FTEs in an organisation of 1800. Changes were made from Director level through to shop floor. Training: Develop a certified Lean Laboratory Master Class training course as JMK lean Solutions and train out to various industries with Laboratory capacity in conjunction with a leading conferencing company in South Africa. Result: More than 50 individuals trained over 5 courses from diverse industries including mining, agriculture, services and medical laboratories Coaching: Lead a Global Travel Account Team through restructuring the annual Hotels selection process managing ~£30M of spend. Team includes GSK procurement professionals, Travel service providers and Hotel Chains. Result: New process established with annual plan and clearly defined process for establishing a strategy before annual RFI and RFQ as well as a clear process to control £10M of maverick spend leading to a 55% (£5.5M) saving in the first year.
