Although I started my career as a hardware technician at age 20, I gradually moved towards more software oriented skills and projects. Therefore, I have knowledge and a certain degree of expertise in many areas of a Information System solution.
My involvement in business later on gave me the inside look on how certain types of businesses operate, and what they need in terms of answers to common questions.
More recently, I am responsible for a information system platform that can serve as a general purpose framework on which to build more specific and fine tuned answers to particular problems that may concern one specific business.
My primary skills are:
Database: Database analysis and modeling, maintenance, in special MySQL;
Project Management: SCRUM enthusiast, having experience with small teams, either consisting on specialist or with multidisciplinary teams.
Requisite and business analysis: Working with the client and the client's team, I am able do find answers to their problems, be it automation, optimization, or business intelligence, and offer a new look, from the technological perspective, on their businesses and how to improve their operations and reach to new frontiers.
I give emphasis on object packaging, intelligent employment and maximum re-usability. I Like to establish a solid hierarchical structure for code and database designing, in order to assure that only the less general purpose and business specific structures be put on top, as to facilitate scalability and artifact recycling and reuse. In other words, I take the OOP philosophy to every level of the solution.
I have, as to the date of this writing, 20 years of professional experience with technology, and designed my first solution, a very simple computer game, at age 10, with the help of a friend of the same age, written in BASIC.
