Hello, I can offer you high quality Customer/Technical service, server and network administration. At the age of 18 I started to work as a desk clerk in Hotel where acquired my communication skills as I was dealing with customers every day whether on the phone, Skype or in person. Two years later I began my IT career as a system administrator in small company, administrating local network consisting few machines with Windows XP, Windows 7 , Debian operating systems, and Windows Server 2003. Two years later I moved to Athens, Greece in order to work for Microsoft as a 2nd line Technical/Customer support, resolving issues with applications, performing software upgrades, analyzing crash dumps, migrating user accounts etc... Most of the time I spent on phone/chat with customer while remotely managing customers machine. Apart from that I was official MS Social Media and forum moderator and quality controller of the rest of Czech Technical support department staff. Currently I am working as Windows, Linux and HPUX Server Administrator in enviroment hosting more than 5000 servers. My main tasks are maintenance of servers (including configuration of new servers), run OATs, perform backups and restores and resolving services and application issues. IT Professional | vBulletin | QA | Community Management | Data Entry

    United Kingdom - Tests: 12 - Portfolio: 4

Since leaving University where I studied Computer Science I have undertaken a wide variety of roles to help me build and extensive skill set. The Bulk of my assignments have been in the Online Gaming field. I spent over 8 years working for the the Planetarion.com. I undertook a number of roles over that time including Public Relations, Support, Game development, Testing and Newsletter Editing. These roles have helped me build on skills such as my eye for detail, accuracy and time management. I then spent over 3 years working for playSocial, a developer of Social Games on the Facebook platform. I was initially hired in a customer support role but this quickly expanded into a Community Manager role where I was responsible for handling Support (Providing it directly but also building a support team), Managing the vBulletin based Support Forums (Configuring, Maintain and enhancing) and developing bespoke support tools. With the launch of their second game my duties were expanded further and I was appointed Quality Assurance Manager. Some of my responsibilities included investigating issues with the games, providing the coders with detailed reports, testing new features, building test teams, developing test plans and collating tester feedback. Being comfortable with all aspects of vBulletin from posting to modifying/expanding the core functions was essential for my work at both Planetarion and playSocial. These skills have proven useful in subsequent vBulletin projects I have undertaken and have been built on further. These projects have included fresh installs, upgrades to newer versions of the software, migration to new servers, enhancing features using 3rd Party addons and implementing bespoke modifications. I also have a background in the data entry field where I have worked for small local from to for large national and international firms such as Thomson Directory, Sony Ericsson and Dimension Data. While many of my roles have been simple data entry others have included additional tasks ranging from scanning invoices into the system before tagging them with the relevant meta data for searching, to checking and updating firmware versions on electronic devices before entering the relevant product information into the system.

    Games Journalist / Forum Moderator

    United Kingdom - Tests: 8

I am looking for longterm, part time work, ideally in a content moderation role. I enjoy interacting in online communities and am able to put personal feelings aside when needed to settle arguments between members. I have forum moderation experience with ProBoards.com, as well as on forums on my own, and have run the shoutbox website SayBox since 2003. Currently I work as a freelance games journalist for Jay Is Games, reviewing and writing strategy guides for casual games. I am open to similar work. Offline, my past work experience includes customer service and shop management. I ran a seasonal charity shop for 3 years and duties included everything from training volunteers and banking daily takings, to manning the til myself where other staff were unavailable. Outside of work, I enjoy programming, soccer, and videogames. Longterm injuries have gradually limited my sports participation, and for this reason I spend a lot of time online. I am available for work at any hour and will happily take on shifts at times many people won't consider.
