I am a highly skilled researcher and writer offering fourteen (14) years of work experience in grant writing, economics, law and public policy, management and organizational development and media and public relations. My work experience also extends to grants management and campaign and lobbying on issues ranging from decent work, globalization and fair trade, climate change, gender and development, the Millennium Development Goals, public education and health reforms, to mention a few. Through the years I have worked with both local and international labor organizations, NGOs and aid organizations such as the LO/FTF Danish Trade Union Council for International Development Cooperation, the Public Services International (PSI), the International Labour Organization (ILO). I am proud to say that I have managed long-term projects amounting to over Php50,000,000.00 or USD1,250,000.00.
I have excellent oral and written communication skills in both Filipino and English. Working with NGOs has also sharpened by ability to get campaign messages across different target audiences using various forms of media. My work has required me to exhibit problem solving skills, self-discipline, the ability to work with tight deadlines, to multi-task efficiently, to be highly adaptable, and to able to work with minimum supervision even in a fast-paced environment.
