NL- EN Bilingual. Eye for detail. Love for learning.

    New Zealand - Last active: 08/14/2014 - Tests: 7

Dutch is my native tongue. Living in New Zealand for 17+ yrs has given me the opportunity to further develop my English. Eager to learn, always do my best, might ask more questions, as I like to do a perfect job. Adult educator 10+yrs. (teaching NZQA accredited subjects) Team leader; setting up new project (10+ people) Design, Artist, making things look good Middenstandsdiploma (NL) English - Dutch language skills Spreadsheet skills, incl bookkeeping Strength: Work accurately, Motivator, Coach, Team player & Solo, Perfectionist, Time Management, eye for detail. Giving every project my best. To translate you need to have deep knowledge of both languages; Many things you cannot translate literally, as they will have a different meaning or make no sense. E.g. translating the Dutch sentence: ‘De kraan loopt’ would literally translate: ‘The tap walks’ instead of ‘The tap runs’. I love empowering people to become the best they can and want to be.

I have studied Printmaking in Hongik University, and studying Print making trained me as a very well-organized, due to its complicated process. I have traveled to Russia, Hong Kong, Russia, Japan, England, Canada, Thailand, Taiwan, and Australia so far. I have gained communication and problem solving skills from these valuable experiences. I speak Korean and English fluently, and some Japanese. The most recent job I had was business developing and Customer Service Representative position in Seoul. My job was organizing business meeting with potential business partners and signing them on the partnership contract. I also took orders from clients, coordinated deliveries, and kept tracking of the deliveries. In 2012, I worked as a researcher at a gallery called A.port which belongs to UNESCO. My main duty was translating documents including e-mails and contracts between galleries. I also went to Hong Kong to attend a meeting with I-MOST gallery, on the behalf of my superior. I use MS Office, Photoshop and illustrator proficiently. You can see my art works here ; https://www.tumblr.com/blog/i-mn-ots-ure I am a fast learner and I am eager to learn something new everyday. I get the work done fast, and get it done good. Thank you for reading this. I will look forward to working with you in the future! Kim
