- Other IT companies have different IT departments for every role (Network , Systems and databases), In our department those three role is just performed by a single employee, Despite of having additional tasks, He still able to strong performance on his duties as a Network/System/Database administrator not just with internal clients but now on external client as well. Provided technical consultation/ideas when it comes to network/database/system administration to various club excelente members, COC and Outsourcing Seniors. Always making himself available during weekends, holidays and late night support to all internal clients (Office based projects). Implemented various system for IT department requirement and internal/external client needs. (SMTP server, Reverse Proxy, Service Desk tool etc,) Perform different key initiative on INDRA PH System/Network Architecture to make it more stable, lessen the incidents and provide good/quality service. (Wifi upgrade, VMware server optimization, database optimization, Proxy server/firewall optimization etc)
-Conducted sharing knowledge sessions to his teammates to strengthen the team knowledge and capability in solving simple to complex daily IT issues. Due to his initative the team's technical knowledge increased and confidence boosted up. Issues were resolved quickly as they are now equipped with the right knowledge and skills.
- Make himself available to conduct numerous technical interview for various technical expertise database admin, network admin and system admin. Passing applicant were deployed to different Indra Philippines client like Meralco, smart and globe. Despite of having this as an additional task, he still able to complete his daily task and at the same time helping the recruitment team in sourcing new talents.
- IT became the training ground of newly hired and not so new employee. He provided theoretical and practical training to the employees to gain knowledge and skills in handling different databases and systems. Instead of hiring a trainer, Martin was able to provide the training and it result to a client satisfaction since one of his disciples is commended for showing good work and ethics.
- IT is now starting to generate profit for the company. A network assessment project was given to Indra PH by Takasago PH. Martin did not hesitate to do the project and It resulted to a satisfied client and another project was given to us the network rehabilitation project and also another possible project will be given to us once the rehab project completed. Based with our job description and scope, we should only support internal clients, but now we were able to deliver on External client and produce profit
- Supporting out Indra's client by providing "out of scope" technical support/consultation. Even if the implemented system was already handed over to the counterparts. He still shows willingness to help to resolve critical issues and provide comprehensive consultation for the system enhancement which result to client satisfaction.
- being considered as the point person for technical consultation/support for implementation of a servicedesk tool (OTRS), Done numerous implementation on internal/external clients and POC. Example are EDC, Bayad Center and internal clients are MWC operation, Finance, Admin and HR (rewards). EDC already bought a new tool almost a year ago, but sill EDC is using the tool and still seeks out his expertise in using the tool. Finance and Admin uses the tool to monitor task and seek their clients comment and suggestion thru the OTRS Survey Module. The tool helps every department to lessen missed task, measures individual achievement etc.
