Motion Designer with Serious Editing Chops
Last active: 13 days ago
I've been working as a Senior Motion Designer and Editor at Leo Burnett for the past 7 years where I've done video for corporate, broadcast, interactive, web, banners and digital signage. Contemporary problem solving, stylized storytelling, and 2d character animation has been my main interests in my career, as a result I have enthusiastically sought challenging projects and have made strong contributions to my agency's reputation. Through the years I have experienced leading a small team, taking a project on independently (from start to finish), and being a work horse for a elite group of talent. At heart, I'm a personable team player that likes to add style and polish to a project and take it to the next level.
Some highlights include:
I helped win a D&AD White Pencil Award for Leo Burnett with Recipeace video. I was lead editor and contributed some motion graphics.
I animated motion comic cut-scenes for the Oreo "Skip An Oreo Across Milk Lake" Digitouch vendor interactive game made by Digitas.
Storyboarded, animated and edited a highly stylized explainer video for Crest "For Me", introducing a new tween product.
My tools of the trade include After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Media Encoder, Sorenson Squeeze Photoshop, Illustrator and most of the Adobe Suite, plus a smattering of Cinema 4D which I am currently learning. I've worked as photographer, designer and illustrator earlier in my career, so I know my way around traditional materials like cameras, markers, paint, pen & ink. In my spare time I draw and write recreationally.
