Drove intraregional consolidation of plan and forecast data. Efforts led to the creation of stanardization of modeling and reporting. Strategic business liaison between our many clients and customers, market managers, regional presidents and vice-presidents as well as international (NY based) section heads, in order to stream-line the implementation, and reporting of, our change management strategies. In Forecasting, proposed and implemented a change to the forecasting methodology, which together with a change of the forecasting business model brought about savings in time alloted to forecasting and reduced reporting variances to within 3%. In 1999 I performed a thorough analysis of Brazil’s devaluation, recommendations were used to reevaluate cost structure. Reported to Regional Finance VP.
Drove the creation of cross-regional tools to effectively manage our areas’ strategies in the region. These efforts resulted in the development and roll-out of cross-area scorecard methodologies, and development and roll-out of standardized reporting, which allowed almost real-time investment prioritization, reallocation of resources and reporting uniformity, and the introduction of process improvement initiatives which culminated in year over year saves of 28% in Direct Operating Expenses.
