My experience and knowledge are centrally focused on media management for various video production environments with the goal to relieve their worry of the overwhelming amounts of media being produced today, while also increasing the efficiency of work for their projects. When consulting, training, or managing these processes, my goals are to enhance the meaningfulness of metadata and media in these growing libraries and create direct and scalable workflows that allow for rapid processing times, secure archiving techniques, and improved communication for the editorial process.
Because of the wide variety of skills necessary to be an effective media workflow specialist, I'm always looking to challenge myself in taking on different freelance jobs, usually associated with editing, to keep my knowledge and skills as current as possible, and to continue to understand the needs of clients today with both large and small projects.
My previous role required me to run my own media management department for Oklahoma's largest advertising agency, a department I created, established, and helped leave in good hands over a 2-year tenure. Suffice to say, I am extremely understanding when it comes to 'due yesterday' deadlines and effective communication so that project's are completed in a timely manner, but also in a way that keeps your assets future-proofed, and leads to the highest-quality content.
Aside from this work, and other freelance work in different capacities, (editing, Colorist, Animator, asst. editing, DIT, PA) my varied skill-set allows me to approach projects in more thorough, meaningful ways, and always with the aim in delivery beyond client expectations.
