Cracks in the pad at the fuel farm to be professionally cleaned and sealed. Alternatives, Risks and Disadvantages No alternative. Per HS&E audit, failing to install the oil/water separator shut-off opens us up to the possibility of contaminating ground water in the event of a spill. Not installing the storm water run-off trenches allows storm water to fill the oil/water separator increasing costs to empty and reducing total containment. Also, storm debris clogs the grates of the oil/water separator not allowing correct function. Now for something a little more creative: I watched Miss Bright as Bob approached our table. She hadn't moved or shifted since sitting down, but as Bob approached, her attention level rocketed up. She had a tension in her shoulders I hadn't noticed before and was staring straight at Bob, reminding me of the cat eyeing the squirrel outside the window when the squirrel doesn't realize the window is open today.
