I am a media connoisseur. I have 10 years of experience and have made monitoring trends and communicating online into my nice. My SEO experience began with a show on KCMD called, 'Musicology.' One night a week. No marketing budget. Tiny radio station. We led a heavy marketing campaign solely online- through RSS feeds, SEO/meta-tagging, podcasting, and heavy on the SME/SMM. In less than 9 months with this campaign, we took the show from non-existence to a robust loyal listener base of 2500 weekly listeners and another 3500 weekly downloads of the podcast of our show. After Musicology ended due to a format change on the station, I started two weekly shows on a popular internet radio station-, where we did all of our own marketing through meta tagging, SEO/SME/SMM via WordPress--'Knit Happens'and 'Don't Panic' quickly grew healthy weekly audiences of 9900 people a week (Knit Happens) and 7500 people a week (Don't Panic). was sold to a 3rd party and shortly afterwards, I joined forces with KPAM 860. Here is where I was really able to establish a role in SEO/SMM/SME marketing. I handled 2 different shows: The Victoria Taft Show and Terry Boyd’s World The Victoria Taft Show: This show is a hard hitting, news based talk show. I handle all SEO/SMM/SME marketing and management. We lean heavily on social media to stay ahead of the news cycle and regularly use SEO to reach new listeners. Victoria is highly connected to the digital content market, and my asst. producer position requires constant content production and management of our portion of the website, meta tagging and RSS feed management, SEO management on the station website, and constant content production in the social media realm that is relevant to our listenership. We are constantly monitoring local stories and have had 3 local stories break first on the show and go national in the last week. This year, the show made an industry magazine's (The Talker) Top 250 Talk Shows In The Country. Terry Boyd's World: I managed all social media for a very active show. It required constant content production.I also managed all web application of content and management of all RSS feeds for the show. This year is the first year of this show and we're very excited that we also made The Talker's Top 250 with this show! I currently do contract work for The Bug Chicks- a local duo of bloggers in the entomology community. In a month, I’ve managed to increase their interaction within their community by 40% and have grown their community by 10% during this time. I installed analytics into their wordpress site a month ago, and we’re boasting a healthy following with organic traffic flowing in from search queries.
