I am a seasoned system administrator and is working with various clients - especially web hosting domain since 2004. Even though I do server administration tasks on Linux / Unix based distros (90% of time), I have expertise and solved many issues related to Windows as well.

Provide remote administration for various web hosting companies, including Datacenters.
Resource monitoring on servers by effectively managing processes and applications.
Trouble shooted problems related to various services like Web (Apache, Nginx, Litespeed, Lighttpd, IIS), Mail (Postfix, Qmail, Exim, Smartermail, Mailenable) , DNS (PowerDNS, Bind), FTP (VSFTPD, ProFTPD, Pure-FTPD) and Database servers (Postgresql, MySQL, MSSQL)
Manages backups using third party backup utilities like R1Soft and custom backup scripts for duplicity and rsync
Implemented desired level of security in the servers.
Web server configuration and performance tuning.
Data migration across the servers with effectively zero downtime.
Expertise in Disaster recovery and management.
Regular Security audits to find out the vulnerabilities of the system and suggest actions to improve the security.
