Microsoft Systems Expert, IT Architect
I work professionally in IT since 1996 mostly in Microsoft area, in about 2000 started with VMware workstation version1. Since then quite heavily working with virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V mainly).
Hundreds of times performed various roles such as project management, team lead, technical planning and consultancy, pre-sale engineering, hands-on experience; those are perhaps small number of types of work I have done.
Planned, installed and maintained various virtualization solutions running VMware (VMserver, ESXi, ESX 3.5-4.1, VSphere 5), Hyper-V. Implemented storage solution based on Open Source storage software, including clustering and replication.
Among huge list of knowledge areas - planned, configured, installed, upgraded, rescued hundreds of failed Exchange servers, I'm an EXPERT in messaging environment covering all possible aspects of email security and delivery. Windows domains configuration, upgrade, migration, consolidation, co-existence in various small, medium-sized, enterprise organizations (6300 users).

Managed and implemented various Physical-to-Virtual migrations based on the client's needs and requests. Managed, installed, configured various Linux type systems, RedHat Enterprise servers, CentOS, Fedora, Debian-based, Ubuntu. Being involved heavily in to the anti-spam, anti-virus and other security solutions allows me to expand my knowledge with different security implementations of those solutions by various companies like Symantec, IronPort, CheckPoint e.t.c
Experience includes planning, installing, upgrading, managing and tuning various security appliances which aim to protect the network and users from spam, viruses, malware and other security risks. The short list of products I was involved with includes but not limited to Symantec Mail Security, Alteon, Connectra, Imperva, IronPort Anti-Spam (M and C series). Network security assessments, servers hardening.
Heavily involved with Office365 and Azure lately.
Performed several migrations including setting up Hybrid config. The biggest migration, for which I have replaced ADFS/DirSync/Exchange 2013 Hybrid infrastructure was 1200 users.
I always try to understand the infrastructure prior to implementing any fixes, even the simplest one.
In majority of the cases I always provide a significant improvement suggestion.
I provide per-incident as well as long-term on-going support. Cooperation with MSPs and assistance in on-going or complex projects.
... And the picture is outdated. I'm bald now.
