    Software engineer, Golang/Python Developer

Russia - Last active: 8 hours ago - Tests: 4

I have developed web applications for 10 years. Last 5 years I use Python and Golang, to create scalable, fast and reliable applications for serverside web, also I have deep knowledge in such python frameworks as: * Django * Django REST Framework * SQLAlchemy * Tornado * Spyne. PostgreSQL and Redis are my favorite tools for data manipulation, so I have strong SQL skills and good knowledge in data organization for NoSQL storages. My secondary backend developing language is Golang which give me full power of native applications and parallel programming. Experience with frameworks: * Gorm * Martini * Gorilla Toolkit * Beego Some works done with Golang: - Binary proprietary protocol reverse engineering and client realization - XML, JSON parallel parsing and Marshal/Unmarshal library - Network, over TCP/HTTP protocols clients and servers (TCP port scanner, SOCKS5, OAuth etc.) - Created big data storage based on LevelDB with sharding routing - Working with public REST API-s for yahoo services (BOSS, User etc.) - Data mining systems (parsing, clustering, analyzing) - Google search result parsing - Server process state monitoring system Docker expert. Built some CI and production environments with Docker. I also have good skills in JavaScript (jQuery, AngularJS). There are no problem for me to understand code (and make minor fixes) written on following languages: PHP, C, C++, Java, Scala, C#, Delphi - because, I worked with all of them in different times in past, and know not only syntax but specificity and environment. My home system is Linux, and favorite editor is Vim, the least 10 years, so I have good skills in system details for *nix. All my work is organized by git (for most projects) or mercurial.

Fullstack web developer (Frontend: AngularJS, server: PHP), consultant

    Russia - Last active: 1 day ago - Tests: 3 - Portfolio: 4

"Good code solves only existing issues, without extra universality, doesn't contain anti-patterns and covered by tests to be able to evolve". (c) me Full-stack programmer with 10+ years experience: I use AngularJS since 2011, use PHP since 2004. I like to write clean OOP code with unit-tests. I can consult startups about best practices, widely used services and technologies (sometimes it will help you to save time and money). upWork All Stars Gold Club member - "Top Rated" now :) Technologies, apps and services I have experience with: AngularJS, PHP, Ionic, D3, Jasmine, Protractor, Twitter Bootstrap, Yeoman, Grunt, Gulp, UI.Router, SOA, REST, JavaScript + ES6, TypeScript, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Couchbase, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, GAE, AWS, Cloudflare, Beanstalk, Mandrill, PayPal, Stripe, Nexmo, AWS S3 (and lot of other APIs), Git, Travis CI, PHPUnit, Agile, TDD... Things I'd like to get more experience with: Firebase, Dart, Rust, Go, Famous, RethinkDB, websockets, Polymer, HTML5 Media (audio, video, canvas). Things I don't want to work with: CoffeeScript. Very passionate to work with AngularJS. I can write directives (components) of any level of complexity - including interactive maps (Angular+D3.js), nested trees, SVG elements and other fancy things. My components are always reusable. I write e2e and unit tests with Protractor and Jasmine (with Karma as tests runner). Prefer to write ES6 (with BabelJS) nowadays. I have a lot of experience with Ionic, created few mobile apps with this framework, including WMS system (as set of mobile/hybrid apps). I follow best practices and my own years of experience to design apps architecture clean, scalable, easy for collaboration and code reuse. I like MVC and REST paradigms, have experience in writing REST API (also with OPTIONS method support and auto-generated Markdown documentation). Have experience with PayPal API, Amazon S3, Cloudflare, Mandrill, Nexmo and others. Have a lot of experience with caching (also with mutexes, semaphores, preventing dog-pile and race condition effects, RAII control of resources). I wrote an PHP-wrapper for Redis, published on redis.io and successfully working with high load, getting thankful feedback from programmers who use it. Like to optimize performance of algorithms and applications. I think tests are essential for code evolution. There is no code without need to evolution. TDD helps to build modular and easy maintainable system, helps to design whole system to be more scalable and testable. Amount of time needed to write tests is always less than amount of time that will be spent to debug without tests. Time of developer's work costs more than server's resources, but application should be designed with performance in mind - each module should be replaceable and should not decrease overall performance. Web page must be generated fast, should have minimum full page reloads - all for user's comfort. My favorite books are 'Clean code', 'Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture' and 'PHP Objects, Patterns, and Practice' . Also, I like ideas of Misko Hevery about writing testable code. I like and respect SOLID principles, hexagonal architecture, MVC pattern, and, especially, Separation of concerns. Software Architect, Technology Mentor & Coach

    Pakistan - Last active: 1 day ago - Tests: 4 - Portfolio: 3

Guy with big shoes who spent a lot of time in rushing into the technology stacks. He mostly get his hands dirty with high engineering where we need to start with atomicity, enhancement, scalability and distributed architectures. He knows what we have to do when the implementation is not just about the tech talk. Wait, did you asked write me to write the for loop? Well, there are a lot of other challenges as well when it comes to the choice of stack, selection of right platform and ability to end up with the exact matters! He has experience of working with different frameworks, languages & platforms. Usually, you'll find his hands dirty into something really reliable and that is making out high-end engineering. He's familiar with the solutions & principles required to write own framework as he has written couple of MVC, HMVC & boilerplate frameworks in PHP & Node.js. In back days, he was working with PHP and spent all of his big part in that. But now you'll always find him working on Node.js with some top class stacks to make robust & scalable products. Hamza is *nix (OSX / Linux) enthusiast so don't tell about benefits of using #windows. The guy with entrepreneurial spirit (no, I'm not that fake VISIONARY ENTREPRENEUR) and is already co-founding few startup companies.
