    Security-focused IT Admin & Developer

United States - Last active: 8 days ago - Tests: 1

I worked as senior software developer for a high-tech security corporation for 2 years (and still do consulting with them) and have been a developer for 6 years. I was responsible for their security audits and testing of their SaaS apps. I developed many cryptography-focused applications and wrote dozens of integration projects for cryptographic hardware tokens. I'm familiar, and up to date, with modern hash schemes (ie. SHA2, MD5), symmetric/block algorithms (ie. AES), and asymmetric algorithms (ie. RSA) and best practices. I practice secure programming in all of my projects and always follow best practices to ensure the final result is of the highest quality. I'm well-versed in PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery, Angular, and Node), Bootstrap, PhoneGap / Cordova, WordPress, and ASP.NET. I also run a security-focused blog (https://joscor.com) and provide security audits for large state agencies in the area.
