Most recently I was system admin for a high-tech company with 26 million customers. I was responsible for server, network, desktop and mobile system administration for 100+ users in San Diego, Palo Alto and New York. I was responsible for building and supporting most new PC & Mac workstations, as well as building & supporting Windows Servers. I did Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange admin, as well as admin of our Juniper Firewall. Also setup & provided support for collaboration solutions like internal chat & video solutions.
I am truly passionate about IT and look at every opportunity as a challenge to learn more and increase my ever expanding knowledge base. I am currently acquiring my A+ certification. My goals for the future include getting my Network and Security Certs, as well as learning Linux/UNIX. I would like to become an IT manager and expect to do so within the next 5 years.
In my past I was a Store Manager of high-volume, high-traffic retail store with over 15 staff and 180,000 customers per year. Responsible for all aspects of store operations including P&Ls, cost & inventory management, hiring, training, scheduling, modeling exceptional behavior, and achieved Starbucks highest “Legendary” levels of service.
In my spare time I volunteer at my church. Some of my past and present tasks include: IT work for the church, Video production, Research and buying for all video and audio equipment, helping to build new website as well as data migration.
