Hello, Over the last 15 years, I am working with the following Unix systems: BSD based systems, Solaris and Linux distributions including Debian, RedHat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Oracle Linux and Ubuntu. Over the past years I have developed a wide range of solutions: VPN, proxy, mail, web, file, Samba, DNS, DHCP, SSO, database, monitoring, backup, virtualization and high availability servers. I am Oracle DBA with the 5 years of experience. I work for financial institution. On my control a 21 databases. Mission critical and big databases runs on the IBM hardware and AIX operating system. Other databases runs under control of Solaris (SPARC) and Linux operating systems. For data protection we use Data Guard. One of the best products of the Oracle is Enterprise Manager Cloud Control. We use it for the databases and hosts monitoring. Its management repository contains a lot of information. It is very useful in building of custom applications (reports, etc). I have work experience with the following Oracle RDBMS versions: 8i/9i/10g/11g. I am big fan of a tasks automation. For small jobs I use shell scripts. For jobs that have complex logic I use Python or Perl. For complex text processing I use awk, sed and shell scripts as a glue. I have 5+ experience of C language programming for Unix. Hardware administration of the following vendors: Oracle (Sun), HP, Dell. I am contributor of the following free software projects: Debian (http://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=taem@linukz.org), Transmission Bittorrent Client, inadyn Dyndns client. Senior Dev: Perl/Catalyst/Moose/DBIC/NoSQL+AJAX/jQuery, shell+sysadmin

Ukraine - Last active: 15 hours ago - Tests: 19

Seeking opportunities in Perl oriented (Catalyst DBIC preferred) application development, shell and perl scripting, and BSD/Linux administration projects - to build sites and setup servers for your business or pleasure. In my mind, LAMP more often reads as LASP - Linux, Apache, (any|no)SQL, Perl - of course, with Catalyst, Template Toolkit and DBIx::Class/KiokuDB in pair with some RCS (git is preferred, but subversion, mercurial and others also possible). And of course, all can be integrated with AJAX libraries such as jQuery, Prototype, MooTools and other to create Web2.0 apptications.Great knowledge of regular expressions (regexp). Have real experience with MySql, Postgres, Oracle, CouchDB, LDAP, also worked with CPanel, Plesk and Ensim. And of course, have experience with Apache, SMTP (exim, postfix, sendmail), IMAP/POP (Cyrus, UW, Dovecot), firewalls (bsd/ipfw and linux/iptables), Samba and misc ftp and proxy solutions.I can work well as alone and as a team member.

    Brazil - Last active: 07/09/2014 - Tests: 7 - Portfolio: 2

Before I even go to university i started working with Web-development. My first experience was about 6 years ago with pure HTML using frames in Dreamweaver 3. Since then I have worked hard to improve my skills in every way possible, not just as a web-developer but as a general programmer, and now I work essentially with Open Source software like Python(+Django), PHP, Linux/FreeBSD, PostgreSQL, etc.My degree in computer science helped me to understand the basics of a computer from the bits in the processor instructions to multimedia, and thus can be used everywhere to improve the final result of a project.
