A magna cum laude college graduate from the University of Virginia, my interests have led to diverse experiences, including a nationally-ranked touring tennis career, congressional and government internships, and restaurant management.
Within an academic setting, I have been a Congressional intern under Representative Alcee Hastings (D) (FL-23), where I researched policies, composed memorandums, handled constituent correspondence, and drafted speeches for the congressman. I have also worked as a research analyst for a private contractor for the CIA. My main assignments included database development, manipulation, and management. During college, I was a research assistant under under esteemed Professor Roquinaldo Ferreira, where I analyzed primary documents and drafted summaries used to compose research articles.
Outside academia, I have pursued several personal interests as well. I worked for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, where I traveled the country petitioning for vegetarian and vegan options. My personable nature and effective communication allowed me to be the most successful petitioner in the organization. I was also a data contractor for PETA, where I managed and analyzed information collected on tour by various petitioners. I was also a bartender and manager at Bang Restaurant, which included customer service duties as well as other operational responsibilities.
I try to excel in everything I do. I am personable, meticulous, and highly motivated.
