Node.JS Programmers

Get Your Node.JS Project Started Today!

Post your Node.js project on Upwork and hire experienced JavaScript programmers to develop fast, highly-scalable web applications that can handle thousands of concurrent connections. These freelance programmers can create large-scale JavaScript applications that work with Restful APIs and other web services, install Node.js on your already deployed applications, or help maintain existing web apps running on Node.js. They can coordinate your migration from a PHP/Apache server with MySQL to Node.js; build backend services for web application forms; integrate various APIs and mobile front-ends with your social network; or develop a fast, user-friendly frontend and implement real-time updates.

Node.js is a software platform built on Google Chrome’s V8 JavaScript engine, with a core JavaScript library that enables developers to create fast, scalable server-side web applications. On Upwork, the world’s largest online workplace, companies can hire experienced JavaScript developers with in-depth knowledge of the Node.js platform as well as various JavaScript frameworks (like Angular JS, jQuery and PhoneJS) and Node.JS frameworks (like Express or Sails) to manage their real-time web application development, from chats and monitoring dashboards to data streaming and API request proxying.

Guy with big shoes who spent a lot of time in rushing into the technology stacks. He mostly get his hands dirty with high engineering where we need to start with atomicity, enhancement, scalability and distributed architectures. He knows what we have to do when the implementation is not just about the tech talk. Wait, did you asked write me to write the for loop? Well, there are a lot of other challenges as well when it comes to the choice of stack, selection of right platform and ability to end up with the exact matters! He has experience of working with different frameworks, languages & platforms. Usually, you'll find his hands dirty into something really reliable and that is making out high-end engineering. He's familiar with the solutions & principles required to write own framework as he has written couple of MVC, HMVC & boilerplate frameworks in PHP & Node.js. In back days, he was working with PHP and spent all of his big part in that. But now you'll always find him working on Node.js with some top class stacks to make robust & scalable products. Hamza is *nix (OSX / Linux) enthusiast so don't tell about benefits of using #windows. The guy with entrepreneurial spirit (no, I'm not that fake VISIONARY ENTREPRENEUR) and is already co-founding few startup companies. MEAN-stack Developer & System Administrator

Sweden - Last active: 3 days ago - Tests: 2

I'm a full-fledged Web Developer and System Administrator. I am currently a full-time employee as a Lead Developer and the primary System Administrator, currently managing a large scale server cluster spread across the globe with load balancing and sharding of databases. I'm very passionate about development and servers in general and there's nothing else that fuels my drive like this does. I am completely self-taught which only shows the passion I have for development and servers and I enjoy learning new things. I spend a lot of my free time developing but I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends and often find ourselves riding motocross in the wild which is another passion of mine. I believe the web is the future, everything will be ported to it. There will be no programs or apps for either desktop or mobile devices, it'll all be residing on the web and I believe it is very important we make sure that it is in good hands when we get there. Decentralizing the web with something similar to the BitTorrent protocol is what I think would be a good option. I primarily develop in Javascript, utilizing NodeJS for back-end and AngularJS for front-end, always maximizing performance and quality by bringing as much of the back-end work to the front-end which decreases server load drastically. I've also developed in PHP and been working in frameworks such as Laravel. I always write object-oriented code. I've specialized on load balancing and clustering of applications to bring the best performance possible to the user. My workflow utilizes many third-party tools to ensure I keep an organized development environment and to aid me in development and keep me up to speed. I use multiple Vagrant virtual machines to bring me a good development environment and virtualize a production environment before deploying. I use Git for version-control and have a private GitLab setup on my servers, but I enjoy using GitHub as well. I use Yeoman for project scaffolding and Grunt to minify CSS, Javascript and renaming assets to force a browser cache reload. Grunt also gives me live browser reload so I save a couple of seconds each time I update a part of my code. The applications I develop can be deployed to Heroku or any other server with a single command. All my applications are responsive and delivers maximized performance while maintaining a high security level. I've worked with tons of API's and written a couple RESTful API's myself. These include Facebook SDK, Instagram API, Twilio API, DigitalOcean API, Mailgun API and many many more.

    Canada - Last active: 1 day ago - Tests: 2 - Portfolio: 2

I have extensive experience developing enterprise-grade network-based web applications and desktop software for clients in government, health care, finance, and academia. I'm the lead developer on several web-based and game engine products, some open-source. I'm strongly familiar with major proprietary and open source development tools and libraries. I'm both an experienced team leader and a fast and reliable solo developer, and as an entrepreneur I understand how to balance high-quality work with the need to ship. I have an academic background with training in both statistics and research methodologies, so I particularly enjoy working on challenging projects that require analysis and creative problem-solving, and which aren't simply clones of existing software. I look forward to working with you!
