    Sharepoint/ASP.NET Expert Developer/Lead, MCPD

    Russia - Tests: 5

I am a software developer/team lead, you can rely on (10 years of experience, 20+ projects, 100-5000 man-hours each, leading dev teams up to size of 10). Technology areas: 1. Sharepoint 2007/2010/2013, Office 365; 2. ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC; 3. Database design and development (mainly MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008/2012). Also, I manage remote teams and do technical consulting and troubleshooting. I can complete any task in areas (1-3). Aside from these main areas of activity, I know, and have done in past, much more (CTRL+F the buzzwords section). Who am I? A highly-skilled software developer, more than 10 years of programming experience, 20+ web and Sharepoint development projects, Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD). Before starting a partnership in late 2013, I have worked for subcontractor on Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) projects mostly for oil and gas industry companies and major banks in Russia. Many of our projects were subjects of NDAs. What do I do? 1. I provide full application development cycle: starting with requirements gathering and ending with training and support. When needed, I mobilize additional specialists, up to project team size of 10, which is possibly outmatched only by the largest consulting and development companies. I have experience of being a CTO equivalent in software company in past. 2. I provide training in Sharepoint, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Entity Framework (a custom in-depth course). What are the values? 1. Value. I strive to do not encourage initiatives, the value of which I don’t believe in. 2. Challenge. Solving difficult problems is what I enjoy the most. 3. Rationality. I see beauty in precise and minimalistic solutions. 4. Transparency and trust. I bet on mutually beneficial long-term cooperation and build it on the foundation of trust. I gladly explain any of my decisions. It's hard to maintain up-to date profiles everywhere, our most detailed profiles are on LinkedIn, please, ask us for the links. Please, note, while there is an argument about is the difference in programmers productivity is 10x (Curtis 1981, Mills 1983, DeMarco and Lister 1985, Curtis et al. 1986, Card 1987, Boehm and Papaccio 1988, Valett and McGarry 1989, Comte d'Erlette 1952, Boehm et al 2000), there is no doubt, that a single bad programmer can slow down the productivity of a company to 0. Linux admin / Backend developer (17 years of experience)

    Bulgaria - Tests: 16 - Portfolio: 9

To describe myself using eight words: I am a problem solver with extensive experience. As a Linux server administrator (since 2009), I configured and partly now maintaining servers for wm4d.com, datamojo.com, call2ru.com, serviskart.ru and other companies (more than 20 servers including VPSes). Also, I consult clients and colleagues on a wide range of questions related to web development and system administration. Since 1998 till 2009 I used to work as a programmer, participated in a variety of projects including Plesk for Linux. (So, I dealt with PHP3/4/5, Perl, bash, Java (J2EE), Pascal, C, JS; I know design patterns, test-driven development, agile methodologies and so on, and so forth.) During the summer of 2011 I took part in selection of the staff for one company (testing candidates' knowledge of PHP5, OOP, MySQL et cetera; more than 1000 candidates). If you need to develop a UI part (JavaScript/HTML/CSS), I am not the right person. And despite the fact that I know PHP I don't want to use it anymore. Now I am learning Python and Ruby.

    Joaquín Tumas

    Expert AngularJS/FrontEnd Developer

    Argentina - Tests: 7 - Portfolio: 1

[ My complete profile can be found on stack overflow careers: http://careers.stackoverflow.com/jtumas ] Hey! I'm an ultra cool ninja master guru god of AngularJS, as I've been working with it for almost almost 1,5 years and before that I was getting job done on backboneJS. More sincerely: I'm a fairly good developer that likes javascript because of its functional, decently modern and it's-fucking-everywhere nature. I did a ton of Yôga, some Aikido, and I also have a cool beard, so perhaps some day I can recall that title. About my working experience: I discovered Angular and fell into its arms pretty fast, I hold (and I think I'm not alone on this) that it's the most efficient way to get big and not so big webapps done today, by balancing its inherent architecture enforcement, TDD focus, good ideas (fake web components FTW) and a passionated community that keeps making awesome plugins and researching for more productive work patterns. Short sentences attempting to describe me I love to make a badass few liners that condenses a huge amount of logic (perhaps some magic with regexps or underscore/lodash mapreducing something), checking it works, and then exploding them in 10 or 15 lines with a couple of comments where they may belong. The code should explain itself without needing to check the comments. Nevertheless a variable that will be defined, used and discarded immediatly may well be called with 1 letter. If you can't justify why you are doing things some way, you are probably doing it wrong. English is not my main language and I may or may not proudly speak with an Slavoj Zizek like diction. PD: we Argentinians (and Uruguayans and some Brazilians) have a herbal beverage that punches coffee in the face as natural energy drink, it's called "mate" (pronounces like 'latte' but with an starting m)
