Musician/Music Industry Professional
I have been in the music industry for 10 years, mostly as principal songwriter and leader of the band A Fragile Tomorrow. Through my band, I have released 4 studio albums and toured with high profile acts like The Indigo Girls, The Bangles, Matthew Sweet, K's Choice, Antigone Rising, and more. Our most recent release is a live EP recorded in Brussels, Belgium that I not only performed on, but mixed and mastered as well. We are currently represented by Straight 8 Entertainment, who also manages the careers of Wang Chung, Brian Welch of Korn, Bill Anderson, and more.
I co-own and operate Low Watt Recording, a full service, 3,000 + sqare ft recording facility in downtown Savannah, GA, and our affiliate record label Low Watt Records. Most of the production and engineering work I do is done at the studio, including upcoming projects for Susan Cowsill, NY based label MPress Records, and more. I am also in the early stages of a project with Danielle Howle, most known for her work on Sub Pop Records and Kill Rock Stars Records, and her collaborations/tours with Elliott Smith, Fugazi, Bob Dylan, Ani Difranco, and more.
In addition to this work, I have produced and engineered various projects for independent musicians, and have worked as a session musician, playing a variety of instruments on recordings by The Indigo Girls, Danielle Howle, Amy Ray, Finnegan Bell (featuring former members of Sony/Essential recording artists Silers Bald), and more.
I have extensive experience in social media marketing through my industry work, and can bring a lot to the table in that regard. I built a following through the use of social media and know how to effectively market a company or product of any kind towards its target market through social media and internet visibility.
I have a real passion for music and the industry, a wealth of experience and knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a desire to succeed in everything that I do. I believe that I can contribute greatly to any position that is available to me.
