I am interactive people person who always ensure whenever I do work my best is always put forward. My current job allows me to work with different individuals through the day whether on the telephone or face to face interaction. My best foot is always put forward.
Over the last 17 years I have worked as a Secretary within government but also at times works with international organisations such as UNESCO and the UN. Such as when they are workshops, seminars and conferences at which my work organisations is affiliated I work as secretariat for individuals from various countries all over Europe, Africa and Latin America.
My current job allows me to also train interns from various youth organisations, community colleges and high schools. I also provide placements for overseas interns from Germany who comes to Jamaica quarterly to gain experiences in our sisters agencies in the areas of cultural and natural heritage, broadcasting, gender and traditional and oral heritage. I submit for work permit waivers for these overseas interns, visa request through our Foreign ministries.
My job duties entails transcribing notes from meetings, answering and routing to the Secretary-General and other staff, meeting clients, attending meetings on behalf of the Secretary-General, filing, maintaining the office diary, preparing and editing email correspondences daily.
I am interested in marketing especially telemarketing and human resource management. I have experience in research, telemarketing, database and human resource management.
