English-Korean Translator/Interpreter (Native Korean)
Last active: 1 day ago
10+ years of my extensive work experience has been with clients who ranked superior quality and strong work ethic as their top priorities. I have previously collaborated with Time Life Asia, been contracted to Hewlett-Packard, localized the Microsoft Office Access guide, and conducted numerous governmental projects. I have also been employed as a project manager, an academic director and a publishing director.
As an English Interpretation major, I have spent a majority of my career in multinational work environments in and out of Korea (US, China, etc.). Having an ability to fluently speak English is one thing, becoming an expert translator is quite another. I am a trained professional. I fulfill all of my responsibilities and continue to polish my skills.
I can directly work on source files in Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Notepad++, and Trados as well as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
