I aspire to gather as much experience and exposure in different fields as possible under my domain. I like to find a simpler solution to complex problems in everyday life as well as in application development. I believe that my knowledge, skill, and ability meet those required of a system administrator responsible for enterprise systems with deeper capabilities in system monitoring, performance tuning, networking services authentication, systems deployment, storage management and SELinux policy management, User Administration & Management, Administration of Groups / Quotas / Privileges, File-systems and Uɴɪx Security, Uɴɪx permissions, PROC File System Management, File Permissions, File Attributes & Properties, Networks Validation and Configuration, X Windows, Desktop Managers, Window Managers, Rescue and Recovery Process, Uɴɪx Kernel, Mail Services, Bash Shell Scripting, ls, pwd, cd, cp, mv, rm, mkdir, rmdir, whoami, alias, cat, file, chmod, chown, history, Uɴɪx Pipes, Redirection, Command Chaining, ps, df, less & more, head & tail, find, which & whereis, who, tar, gzip, bzip2, Checksums Usage, ping, telnet, netstat, dig, nslookup, host, Perl Programming Language, Performance Monitoring, Network Retrieval Clients, Secure Clients, Symlinks, Network Configuration Management, Storage Management, Logical Volume Management Provisioning, Screen Usage, RSYNC Usage, SYSLOG Configuration, Apache Web Services, Apache SSL Configuration, Apache Web Server Implementation, FTP Server with Secure Configuration, RPM | YUM Package Management, CRON - System Scheduler, Logrotate, Network Interface Configuration, VSFTPD - SSL, TFTPD, TELNETD, NTPD, DNS - BIND Implementation, NFS Implementation, Samba Implementation, MySQL® Relational Database Management System, Enhance Security Posture, Secure Communications, Core Network Services & Configuration | BSD Service | Daemon Management, Sysctl, IPv[4|6] Configuration, NTP Client/Server, INETD - FTPD, DHCP services, Application Services - UAMP - Web Application Services, PHP Implementation, Postfix MTA, POP3, IMAP, Security Implementation Techniques - GPG, IPTABLES - Firewall, PF Firewall, SSH Usage, NMAP - Reconnaisance and Risk Assessment Tool, System Lockdown, TCPDump, WireShark - Packet Capture and Analysis Tool, PostgreSQL - DBMS, 'psql' - Terminal Monitor Usage, Access Control Log Configuration Data Types, SQL - DDL - Constraints, SQL - DML Indexes, PostgreSQL - Functions, Model: /var/log/messages, SQL Object Permissions.
My work is mainly directed onto the Uɴɪx, which is by my personal opinion one of the best Operating Systems around. I’m currently working on to improve it's use in the Commercial organizations as well. I have set-up a few shell/mail/web/FTP/database/name- servers, and monitoring services. I can do virtually all Uɴɪx security related tasks, have a good experience of dedicated machine's administration, handle installation and maintenance of a number of solutions including hosting web servers, load balanced environments, media broadcasting, tunneling software, office networking solutions, proxying, etc.
I can manage and troubleshoot a very large variety of software applications for exmaple Apache, CPanel, MySQL and its replications in multiple roles, DNS, Nagios, Cacti, MRTG RRDToos, PPPoE servers, Raidus Servers, Tomcat, Net-sntmp, Squid, DHCP Servers, NFS, VPN server like POPTop and OpenVPN, IPTables, IPChains, IPFW, PF, NetFlow based software like Flow-Tools, Solaris Volume Manager, ZFS, MDADM, LVM, VirtualBox, XEN, VMWare ESX and OpenVZ. I can also do scripting using normal bash shell.
I've good knowledge in most flavors of Uɴɪx either MacOS X, IBM-AIX, HP-UX, Oracle Solaris on SPARC, AMD and Intel, NetBSD, FreeBSD or OpenBSD. I've practiced on different type of enterprise class server hardware including many Dell, HP and IBM servers with multiple hardware RAID Levels.. I’m not a professional programmer, but so long, I've learnt in my spare time some shell scripting, C, C++ and HTML programming, and I’m also able to write some Java and Python programs. I’m able to work with SQL, mainly MySQL as well..
Personally, I would like to describe myself as enthusiastic, open minded, humble, and down to earth person. In my spare time, I like to go outside with my friends to get some good coffee and talk to each other. I like to bike and whichever sort of sport you can ever remember, since I have a good sport talent (actually, I've never did any sport as a professional). I really enjoy my time by listening good music. I have no restricted music style, since I like all sorts of music but Techno and Rap. To be honest, I don’t like reading books – I mean those, printed on paper, since one can’t press Ctrl+F and find the exact thing which is looking for :P I like exploring new places, always open to learn new things and actively engaging myself in varied activities like community works.
