Harvard-educated writer and German translator
I am a skilled German linguist and creative and academic writer with an excellent sense of English and German grammar and style. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English literature from Harvard University (2010) and a Master's degree in Medieval Studies from the University of Toronto (2015).
I have been a freelance German to English translator through Proz.com since 2011, and I specialize in marketing and academic texts. I have translated promotional documents such as product descriptions and a tourism website as well as academic essays.
I am also a creative writer who writes novels, plays, poetry, and short stories. My attention to English grammar is superb, and I enjoy analyzing syntactic structure and meaning.
In addition to Modern German, I have excellent reading capabilities in French, Latin, Middle High German, and Old English. I have also studied Old Norse and Old Saxon and have a significant background in medieval studies and religion.
I look forward to collaborating with you!
