Mechanical Engineer/3D Designer
I am a product developer with an aerospace engineering background. I have designed dozens of space-quality parts, and have recently moved into designing for 3D printing. I started a 3D printing service business because of my fascination with the technology. You can see more at cubikprinting.com.
I work primarily in Solidworks, but also have experience in zBrush, AutoCAD, Fusion360, Maya, and SketchUp. I can also do FEA analysis in a program called Mecway.
I am good at managing large assemblies and designing to requirements.
To compliment my CAD experience, I have quite a bit of machining and CNC experience as well. This allows me to design parts that are easily manufactured and require less retooling.
Due to my experience in a wide variety of fields, I am able to tackle a problem with a unique perspective, resulting in an exceptional product. I believe in a front-end engineering approach, which allows for more efficient output and less complications down the road.
