I hold a Doctorate in the field of Astronomy and Astrophysics. Throughout my graduate studies, I developed skills such as data management and statistical modeling and analysis of large data sets, physics and astrophysics, spectroscopy, teaching, laboratory work, project management and leadership, scientific research, critical thinking, problem solving, and advanced writing, as well as the application of Windows- and Linux-based computer software packages and programming languages. I was previously a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Toledo and the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, where I developed these skills. Further skills that I have acquired during my post-doctoral experiences include class preparation and teaching in a number of areas of physics and mathematics, thus increasing my communication skills.
Throughout both my doctoral and post-doctoral work, I have been afforded the opportunity of attending a number of academic conferences and presenting my results. In doing so, I have developed my skills at communication and preparing and delivering scientific talks and lectures.
As well as a Doctorate in Astronomy and Astrophysics, I hold both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Theoretical Physics and Pure Mathematics. Throughout my degree work, I acquired a deep knowledge and understanding of a large numbers of areas in the fields of physics, statistics, and mathematics.
