My name is Jeffrey Wilson and I am a 3d artist residing currently in Hawthorne, CA (USA). I currently work as a Maya Generalist for Logan LA in Marina Del Rey, CA. (www.logan.tv) Job duties primarily consisted of hard surface / character modeling but also included particle effects, animation / deformers, shading, rendering , light compositing, Speedtree Cinema and character rigging.
I have over 18 years of experience in the field, my first job working in television at an ABC affiliate in Huntsville, AL in 1993. I have experience in a broad collection of software including Maya, 3DS Max, Alias Studio, Geomagic, Zbrush, Mudbox, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects as well as games engines such as Unity and the Unreal Development Kit.
I also have extensive experience working with and operating scan data / equipment. I have used several LIDAR style scanners including the Faro Focus 3D, several structured light scanners such as Flexscan 3D and Artec 3D scanners. My experience with 3d modeling enabled me to scan data with an artists eye, cleaning the data in Geomagic and ultimately remeshing and texturing optimized 3d models in Maya / 3DS Max for clients in the film, television and games industry.
