California Attorney in New York City
My career goal is to make an impact in the lives of the people around me through service and sacrifice! I'm an active member of an incredible, international Christian ministry and non-profit. For my "9 to 5", I'd love to work in a Public Defender's Office in New York City. I am licensed to practice law in California, and in the next few months I will also be licensed in New York.
I have many great skills that make me a strong asset for any project. I am an outstanding technical writer, editor, and drafter of legal and professional documents. I write confidently and persuasively, and am fully capable of drafting compelling legal arguments. I have excellent communication skills. I've worked in the highest volume criminal courthouse in the United States, representing felony and homicide defendants and interviewing the witnesses for their cases. I mentor teens and adults through drug and alcohol abuse, mood disorders, financial and family problems, and more. I am also a leader, coach, fundraiser, event planner, and friend of everyone!
As a nerdy youngster, I taught myself how to build computers and how to program. This led me to becoming extremely skilled with computer software and hardware, word processing, web design, and programming in various languages. I can manage office equipment and networking for any small office. I have lots of experience working with PowerPoint, Access and SQL databases, Excel, online and offline data storage, and everything else that has to do with computers. When I was 18 years old, I even started a computer repair business with a close friend -- just for fun! And, in college, I wrote automated software that collected daily statistics from all sales registers throughout my university and outputted them into a fully formatted Excel worksheet. My IT supervisor is still expressing gratitude for the program to this day.
If you're looking for someone to get the job done with excellence, hire me. I won't let you down.
