I am a Masters in Computer Science, graduated from the University of Crete. My master's thesis topic is about parameterisable automated GUI generation from data structures using a dynamic language.
My interests involve computational complexity, algorithms and algorithmic solutions which use high-level recomposition or problem reduction, graphic algorithms, low-level 3D processing, cryptography, theoretical development tools, theoretical studying and analysis of languages, as well as languages themselves, among many, many others.
I also have worked in many different fields of applications, ranging from a toy postscript resterizer, a couple of CPU simulators, byte-code compilers and virtual machines, interpreters, project-description translators (and therefor toy build-systems), tons of linux junior (and juvenile) administration and scripting, web-development (mainly in PHP and ruby), 2d games, 3d graphics (such as surface generation, texture mapping, lighting), peer-to-peer experimentation (a "p3p" chat client), cryptography, and probably even more that I cannot recall any more.
I enjoy learning and using solely the latest (bleeding edge) technologies and methodologies. I particularly enjoy a lot researching common wisdom about specific topics, I enjoy splitting problems into topics about which there is wisdom to be found, and finally wishing to create new wisdom through problems that truly hit new frontiers.
My ideal projects involve bits and pieces of such technological and scientific challenges, and are (ideally) about something "cool and interesting".
I enjoy a lot talking out and figuring out common ground and specific arrangements which make everyone happy.
Apart from computers, I am also a dancer, a mover, a thinker, a musician, a healer and a researcher.
