Graphic Designer and Creative Problem Solver
My background is in Behavioral Science and Industrial Design. I have the skill set of both a Research Scientist- statistics, writing, critical thinking, survey design, and statistics- and a Designer- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Solid Works, Key Shot, rapid visualization, sketching, prototyping, and creative problem solving.
My years of experience as Scientist help me interpret research findings and turn them into real, valuable Design innovations.
I have over 8 years of experience in Behavioral Science; 4 years studying childhood language acquisition and how we come to understand the world around us at the University of Houston, and 4 years studying Addiction psycho-physiology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. From this I have learned how to make insightful research findings from data, manage personnel, design surveys and experiments, write academic articles, recruit participants, and navigate through administrative systems.
I am currently an Industrial Design Master's student at the University of Houston. In this program, and through my independent study, I have experienced turning design research into meaningful design insights. I am a capable graphic and 3D designer, with a working knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, and Keyshot.
