Translator and Linguistic Tester
Last active: 05/21/2014
After five years teaching Humanities in French and English with some side translation jobs in tabletop gaming, I moved to working in video games localisation, first as a French linguistic tester, then as a translator and reviewer. I am now starting a carrier as a freelancer, based on my in-house experience in this field and its different steps.
My specialities are History, Geography, Political Sciences and Gaming (be it linguistic testing or translation). I am versatile, intellectually dynamic and very curious, and am therefore not afraid to deal with "unknown territories", provided this won't impair translation's quality or speed.
I am quite tech-savvy, knowing MS Office suite like anyone using it all day, just as other everyday internet tools. I also know CAT tools, particularly MemoQ, SDL Trados, DéjàVu and am starting to take a look at OmegaT.
