I have over 9 years of technical writing experience developing release notes, alerts, application notices, web help, software manuals, and hardware user guides. I can output both PDF files as well as responsive HTML5. I also have extensive experience using Adobe FrameMaker, Snagit, Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Help & Manual, HTML, CSS, and Madcap Flare v11. I am a certified Madcap Advanced Developer v11 and a certified Flare Consultant. I specialize in Microsoft Word and Adobe FrameMaker to Flare conversions as well as offer language translation services for over 77 languages.
Over 14 years of extensive network and file server design, troubleshooting and implementation in complex corporate environments. Considerable experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and WINS configuration, Windows 2003 Terminal Server, MSSQL, Network Monitor (like Wireshark), and Microsoft VPN solutions.
Nuclear Power (Secret Security Clearance)
Highly trained in steam plant mechanics, reactor physics, classical physics, calculus, heat transfer, fluid flow, and chemistry. This U.S. Navy program was designed by MIT and was developed to expose the candidate to the most complex parts of a 4-year degree compressed into a brutal 6 month experience called Naval Nuclear Power School. It is regarded as one of the most difficult academic programs in the world. Other training aspects of the program include Machinist Mate “A” School and Nuclear Prototype Training. In my class, only about 25% of the applicants made it through the program.
