C#/C++/C/Java/Delphi/ASM; MSc Photon Science; BSc Maths & Physics
I became interested in programming at an early age when I came across QBASIC on an old laptop. Thankfully, I eventually moved into Delphi and Visual Studio and have taken quite a liking to Object Pascal and C#.
I've since worked in Delphi, C, C++, C#, Java, x86 ASM, VB and (X)HTML/CSS/JS/XPath/XSD/XSL/ASP/PHP.
PhD Chemical Engineering & Analytical Science (University of Manchester 2011-2014)
MSc Photon Science (University of Manchester)
BSc (Hons) Maths and Physics (University of Leeds)
AABBB A-levels (Maths, Physics, Further Maths, Chemistry, Critical Thinking)
I would ideally like to combine my knowledge and interest in mathematics, physics and C#/Delphi, and apply it through the development of interesting new software. I would be particularly interested in involvement with graphical and scientific projects including process and data visualisation methods.
I have some experience of web development languages including ASP, PHP and XML-based languages (XSLT, XSD and XHTML) in addition to XPath. I have developed a couple of websites for university societies in addition to a [currently incomplete] personal website.
I have very basic experience of databases and SQL via Microsft SQL Server, Microsoft Access and LAMP.
