Glass is where the future is. What excites me is imagining user interfaces on various size of glass right from the piece in the eye-wear to the one that can be installed on Highway giving traffic reports and showing highway contextual advertising.
So its interfaces those keeps running in my mind, and then I try to imagine what those interfaces should do, what information they are supposed to provide in various environments and how to make real things out of the crazy ideas I imagined as a child after reading a lot of a sci fi novels.
Since 2012 I am constantly researching on how a fundamental behavior of human kind associated with commerce, travel and entertainment can be bought to the interfaces, so the devices becomes an integral part of consumption rather remaining just as a tools. While I am seeing a good success for implementing whatever I wanted to do in the travel industry, there is still a long way to go and figure retail as well infotainment. For the last decade I used to spend one year of every three years to pick up whatever is the latest of my trade and spend rest of two years developing rigorously on that. This is how I mastered three iterations of E commerce, Five Iterations of web design changes and three iterations of Opensource Development.
If a three year rule can be applied to what I am doing this year then I have pretty much got a solid hold on Mobile devices on every single platform. I can concentrate my focus to fine focal length and spend two years towards working on ‘mobile’ as a trade or can see if something disruptive can be brought to the market and shake up the whole thing. Every day I am trying to figure out the answers to my own questions and I know by fact that there are going to be multiple interpretations of all answers which keep me working, analyzing and creating as much as I can understand and as much as the universe permits.
