If working on a book edit or similar task I make sure to keep my voice out of it and only change what is absolutely necessary unless directly told to make core or creative changes as well. If chosen I will do everything I can for you. I may ask questions so that I am certain I know exactly what it is you want from me, that way I do not have to waste your time finishing the project and having to redo it because of a minor misunderstanding. No matter the project I follow the exact instructions and put all of myself into the task. Payment Terms I like to negotiate the price per project with the employer. As every job is different, there is no standard rate, so I try to make sure we both get exactly what we need and agree on an amount fair to both of us. I generally ask $2 per 100 words. However, I am very flexible, more so in an ongoing situation. I openly accept offers for my writing and I consider every single one of them. I also often do job estimates by word count although I am always open to a counter offer. Feel free to tell me what you'd like to pay and maybe we can work something out. I DO NOT ask for any payment up front, as I believe in being paid once the customer is happy with what I have supplied. However, I do ask that escrow is used and monies are deposited in the escrow account before commencement of work. For larger projects I prefer for milestones to be established and for payment on completion of those agreed milestones.
