I help companies build a coherent online presence to accelerate and improve their marketing goals.
My work with clients mixes Social Media Strategy, Targeted Content and ongoing Community Management.
I start with developing a strategy that understands both the company’s needs and the user’s
tendencies. I perfect my client’s content mix with my multilingual and multicultural editing, writing, and translation skills. I take customer engagement beyond mere website updates to interaction with target audiences in online communities over the long term.
Examples of my work have included designing social media strategies for products and clients through listening to conversations, monitoring trends, assessing share of voice, and placing content for dissemination by key opinion leaders and influencers. My placements have resulted in obtaining unpaid coverage on NPR, in technical and popular magazines such as Wired, and even in a Saturday Night Live comedy skit.
I develop content and delivery methods that align client sales goals with observed user cultures and environments, in appropriate online distribution channels. I am also adept at new international product launches that bridge language and cultural differences.
My professional career has always been focused on getting the message through. Communication has been a passion of mine since studying English Philology in my native Barcelona, Spain, and languages such as English, Italian, Greek, Latin, Hebrew.
I have worked with deaf children since my late teens, served as the youngest assistant to the director of one of the world’s largest corporate foundations, and worked as a public relations professional for cultural organizations such as the International Olympic Committee, UNESCO, the Goethe Institute, and the renowned Barcelona Science Museum (now CosmoCaixa).
I have translated a range of content types into different languages for different platforms and audiences (in print, film, and other electronic and digital media.) I am a meticulous editor for companies such as Mc-Graw Hill.
An early adopter of new online communication, I started working with pioneering Internet
communities in the mid 1990s when I helped design and launch Educalia, which connected thousands of parents, teachers, and K-12 students across Spain and Latin America.
I have analyzed usability, content and copy-writing for multiple online products, websites, and mobile apps.
My professional life has evolved along with the way communication has evolved and now focuses on the new ways people want and need to communicate enabled by technology.
As an avid user of the Internet for work, leisure, and education for over 15 years, I have a profound understanding of how people communicate in the 21st century: people’s behavior, multiple 2.0 tools, and ever changing online trends, etc.
