Copywriter & former food magazine editor with BFA in creative writing
Currently, I work full-time at a marketing agency as a staff copywriter, editor and proofreader. The clients I write for within the agency include those in the real estate (55+ communities and market rate homes built throughout NJ), retail (California-based outlet center) and insurance (business collective) industries. I also proofread and edit all work that goes through the agency, which spans local, national and international clients in healthcare, education (early and higher), consumer products, real estate, retail, insurance, B2B services, and government, among others.
Previously, I wrote and edited full-time for a monthly nutritional magazine, covering organic/natural food news and trends as well as exploring and explaining the health benefits of a variety of supplements. Articles ranged from 90 to 3,000 words.
Other printed freelance work includes restaurant news, reviews and grand openings.
I graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in creative writing. While I was there, I wrote for and became the editor of our school publication, The Prattler.
I am trained in the following aspects of writing: fiction, non-fiction, memoir, feature, article, blog, newsletter, eblast, direct mailers, radio ads, branding, newspapers, billboards, traditional and digital marketing.
