    I have a four-year degree from The State University of New York At Geneseo in business administration. During my college years, I took classes in every discipline. This included: Financial Management, Marketing, Statistics, Information Technology, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, and aggregate course which covered many of these topics at once. While at Geneseo I fueled my passion for writing by taking writing workshops in fiction prose, nonfiction prose, and poetry. During these courses I was assigned multiple stories or poems from a group of class members with the expectation that each work would be read and annotated and that during the workshops I would have prepared relevant and valuable criticisms that would help the original author increase the effectiveness of the message of his or her piece. Beginning in middle school and ending my first year of college I have had nine years of Italian study in a traditional class setting. I have a great love for the Italian language. I would say my ability to read the language is superior to my ability to speak it however should I take up this habit again I do not believe I would have very much difficulty in attaining fluency. During my younger years, elementary school and middle school, I fostered a love for cello and studied during school hours and in private with several wonderful tutors. While I no longer play the cello currently, should I have the time and the ability to obtain an instrument and tutor again, I will certainly begin cello study once more. As a small child I showed interest in composing and given the many years I had to study music, I will endeavor to begin composing songs and arrangements when the time is favorable. In addition to the twelve hours of course work I was taking during my final semesters at Geneseo I began a full time forty-hour engagement at a debt collection agency located in Perry, New York. My responsibilities concerned tracking individuals who owed debts with the eventual goal of setting up repayment programs for them so that they could repair credit and have the defaulted status removed from the loan. These were student loans and my duties were contingent on making outbound calls. I have since then used the technical and industry knowledge obtained at this employer to offer debt consulting through the phone to those who may be in the predicament of having a defaulted student loan. My aim is to give these people information that is valuable to them and that they would not be able to obtain via google or other well known sources. In addition to my love for writing and the cello I was very seriously interested in graphic design as a child and spent well over 150 hours creating and editing various pieces of graphic work by the time I was the age of fifteen. I am now at the age of twenty-three a Financial Services Professional with a large financial firm. I have obtained FINRA registration and my goal is to work with as many clients who will see value in my services as possible. Part of what I do in my free time and what I would like to eventually transfer to my career in the finance industry is my ability to assign valuations to goods, services, and other items. I accomplish this with goods by taking into consideration a variety of different factors that will be relevant to the item's future value. I can also offer projections for the value of an item many years in the future. I am not currently using this skill at my employer to the capacity I am able to exercise it. Given my background in writing that I have nurtured since I was five years old, I can say with a great deal of confidence that I have edited at least 280 poems and at least 75 short stories through work completed in class and online. My most recent literary endeavor was a short play titled "A Good Financial Plan." I invite readers to look at it, it is found in my portfolio below.
