I'm a Senior Law Student with a degree in Artistic Drawing and a huge love for art, design, writing, internet and languages. Being born and educated in Argentina, I'm a native Spanish speaker with excellent grammar and spelling skills. I'm also fluent in English, a language that has been part of my everyday online life and communication for years. My wide range of interests has allowed me to develop a creative mind and skills in different areas. I'm a quick learner, an enthusiastic researcher, and I have taught myself several subjects from basic piano to solving software and OS problems. I'm looking for new challenges to improve my skills and gain experience.
My skills include:
+Illustration: I have loved drawing and painting since I was a child, and I took extracurricular art classes since I was in Elementary School. I got a degree in Artistic Drawing when I was still in High School. My interest in computers and digital media led me to self-teaching digital painting and edition.
+Design: I love designing. Although I don't have any formal education in this field, my artistic background has made me both creative and critical when it comes to graphic design. I think aesthetical beauty and harmony are key elements in any design work. My skills in Adobe photoshop and similar programs are self-taught, and I'm always open to learning to work with new programs and tools.
+Writing: I have always found written communication to be the best for me. I can write anything, from articles or academic papers to fiction or poetry, in either English or Spanish. I have experience in blogging, forum discussions, essays, academic writing and legal writing. I love writing short stories and poetry too, and I plan to start working on a novel once I graduate. Becoming a published author is one of my biggest dreams.
+Legal: I'm just a few finals and a thesis from graduating from Law School, and I have already finished the legal practice courses required by my program. I have also participated in some of my University's teams for moot court competitions, which have given me more experience in legal writing in both Spanish and English. Since I study in an Argentinian University, I'm more familiar with Civil Law, especially Argentinian Law. However, the competitions I was involved with belonged to the fields of International Public Law and International Commercial Arbitration, so I have experience in legal research on those topics.
+Translation: I have been an amateur English-Spanish/Spanish-English translator for some online communities I was/am part of. I'm fluent in English, and writing has always been my strongest skill. Spanish is my native language, and I come from a field of study that requires a strong command of language. I am the main English-Spanish translator in my current research team at University, and I have even done successfully some French-Spanish translations of legal instruments and case law, despite my level of French being basic.
+Microsoft Office: My High School's Computer Science syllabus focused mostly in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel. I even tutored a few classmates in Excel.
+Other: I was a forum admin years ago. By doing research online, I have learned by myself how to solve most of the computer-related problems presented to me, and I keep learning.
I worked as a Sales Promoter and Pollster for a tourism company during summer.
