If you're not aware by now that email is the way of the future, then all I have to say to you is, "Have you been stuck under a rock?"
Social media is cute, but it comes and goes...who knows what the next Twitter, Snapchat, Vine, or Instagram will be.
Email is forever. Ball and chain type forever. Yepp, it's that serious.
What you need is to find what sets you apart.
Craft a message in a language so unique that your customer identifies with it.
They can trust you.
"Okay, that's nice and all but I don't have time to do all that..."

Your customer is a 25-30 something year old entrepreneur seeking to increase online sales for their 1-5 online sites.
What we would do is give them something they need, for FREE.
An eBook titled "5 Easy To Implement On-Site Changes To Increase Your Conversions By 300% No Programmer Required!" might be something they're interested in, right?
I believe that once you respect your customer, they will reciprocate in ways you want them to (get your head outta the gutter).
