I have experience in both data science and teaching. I am a master student in Moscow Lomonosov State University and a junior specialist on Moscow Exchange and my work mostly consists of data visualization form different sources for complex market reports. In addition, I work at my university as a teacher assistant. In data analysis, I prefer R for visualization and data exploration and Python for applying machine learning algorithms. My favorite tools in R are Shiny, dplyr, RMarkdown, ggplot2 and various financial packages, and in Python I mostly work with skit-learn, iPython, numpy and pandas. In my master’s thesis, I am writing about relationship between Russian stock market and financial news on the Internet, so my current research is focused on time-series analysis and text mining. Also, I am the founder of blog RforFinance.ru, where I write about applying R language to financial and economic problems. The blog is not very popular (only up to 500 visits per day), but there is very little information about R in Russian.
