    I am looking to put my skills to work in creating high quality mobile games for iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, and Nook Color. I was lead developer and manager for multiple apps and games for iOS and Android mobile devices. One of our games is Burst! ( It is a physics based puzzle game written in Objective C on XCode. It uses Box2d as its physics engine. It received over 400,000 downloads on the App Store. Another game is called Jetpack Miner. It was written in LUA within the Corona SDK platform. It was designed to be a huge tile-based world with destructible blocks with realistic physics and also run on nearly all mobile devices. A single game can consist of up to 160,000 tiles in a randomly generated map.( We also built apps. One popular app we developed was for keeping track of volleyball stats. It was designed for iPad only so that the entire tracking system could be on one screen and replace a typical score pad. It used a SQL Lite database accessed via Core Data.

    Experienced Corona Mobile Game and App Programmer with Benefits

    United States - Last active: 3 days ago - Portfolio: 7

    Hello! I'm an experienced and published mobile app and game developer. I've primarily used the Corona SDK for my cross platform game development. I've worked extensively on: * Box2D physics * Many of the Corona plugins (analytics, Facebook, all Ad platforms, etc.) * Cloud services (AppWave and App42, etc.) * Real-time multiplayer * In-app Purchasing * Push notifications * Advertising monetization (video, banner, interstitial, incentive) * Data storage (SQLite, JSON, cloud) Aside from coding, I also do quite a bit of drawing for basic graphic assets. I've done 100% of the assets for each of my games. I wouldn't call my design abilities a core strength rather a supporting ability where I can draw UI controls, basic sprites, etc. without the need for an artist. I'm available full time or as needed starting any time. No preference for team size or project stage. I work well with small or large teams and don't mind jumping into an existing codebase or starting from scratch. As for the **benefits**, I also have an existing codebase for general services that I don't mind reusing (with no licensing attached). Services include: * Complete In-App purchasing store * Real-time multiplayer framework * Push notifications and deep linking * Cloud based promotional services * Progression features including player profiles, leveling, perks and rewards, etc. * Facebook Login integration * Analytics Prior to the recent time I've spent developing games, I worked as a lead engineer in the mobile telecom world for over 12 years as a server side enterprise Java developer and SDK/tools developer. **Portfolio** I have seven puzzle games published on the Google Play store, and three on the App Store (remaining four are currently in review). These games were all solo projects. I've done all design, development, and publishing. Google Play Developer Profile - iTunes Developer Profile -

    JavaScript Ninja experienced with creating games

    Poland - Last active: 10/27/2014 - Tests: 3 - Portfolio: 5

    I have over 8 years of experience developing web applications. I have spent the last 5 years creating and managing, together with a friend, a mobile game studio - Bushido Games. I have knowledge and experience developing advanced applications and games using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. I can also provide back-end service and create REST API using LAMP or similar. With our games, we focus on mobile web platforms. We have to handle many types of devices and browsers, so performance is the key to success. Most of our games are written in vanilla JS. I'm also familiar with jQuery, Ember, Mootools, and NodeJS (including socket communication). I worked for 3 years at Nokia, working on the platform as Senior JavaScript Engineer. During that time, I was part of both desktop and mobile (including Android, iOS, and Symbian) teams.

    M.S. | Android | Java | Python | C/C++

    United States - Last active: 11/04/2013 - Tests: 4 - Portfolio: 1

    I am a highly-skilled software developer with over 12 years of training and experience in computer science, and 4+ years in mobile app development. My mobile development experience includes Android and iOS, with supporting server functionality implemented in Python with underlying SQL data storage. My experience with Android covers every level of app development, from design to deployment and user support. My academic work earning an M.S. ranged from novel statistical modeling and computer vision techniques to end-user support for experimental tablet applications. I am proficient in a wide variety of programming and scripting languages including Java, C/C++, Objective-C, Python, and Linux/UNIX shell scripting. My largest-scale Android project to date is Quantro, a multiplayer action/puzzle game for which I was the designer and programmer. Quantro has been downloaded by over 20,000 people and has an average Google Play user rating of 4.3 / 5. Quantro features complex multithreaded and networked operation, and its implementation involved a wide range of Android's advanced features, including inter-application communication, threaded and asynchronous event processing, foreground/background services, near-field communication and SMS messaging, etc. While working towards my M.S. I studied machine learning, cognitive modeling, generative models, object recognition, information retrieval, natural language processing and context-based classification. This work led to several applications, including assistive communication apps for iPad used for communicative and behavioral therapy. In addition to designing and implementing these apps, I provided personal support and training to end-users, and developed updates and additional features based on their feedback. I'm eager to put my experience to work on your project. I'm equally comfortable taking the lead on app design and following detailed design specifications and requirements. Thanks for your consideration; I look forward to hearing from you. Education: - M.S., Computer Science, May 2010, GPA 4.0.
