Over the last fifteen years, I have worked in a variety of fields while earning my PhD in psychology. While earning my degree I worked as a mental health counselor and then moved to the Industrial/Organizational psychology field where I worked for a major defense corporation in the Washington, DC metro area. My passion, however, lies within academia and research. As such, I transitioned to a position where I now teach full-time as an online professor of psychology. I maintain several blogs related to mind-body health, environmental concerns, and creative frugality.
My areas of expertise include online facilitation, mental health, psychology (I/O and statistical/research), nature conservation, rural living, Kentuckiana, and creative writing.
