    Theology/Philosophy and Sermon Writer

United States - Last active: 11 days ago

With seven years pastoral experience, a M.Div. and having earned a Ph.D. in systematic theology I am well accustomed to academic writing, particularly in the field of theology and philosophy. With pastoral experience, sermon writing has always been one of my great loves. For a powerful, persuasive sermon with insightful exegesis and theological insight to back it up, hire me! If you need help putting together an theological journal article, and have your overall argument prepared, I can bring it to life. I also enjoy fiction writing--I probably spend most of my "free time" writing stories (fantasy genre, mostly), and would be happy to write a story.

Creator and Writer of A SPIRIT-Kissed Soul

United States - Last active: 3 months ago - Tests: 1

I've always been a Writer at heart even as a child, but I didn't truly tap into my gift until I was around 20 years old. I'm 29 years old now and I've been working as a Christian Freelance Writer for the past three years. I currently still write for the women's Christian magazine "Ruby For Women" ( ) and I'm the Creator and Writer of the Christian blog "A SPIRIT-Kissed Soul" ( ). I started "AS-KS" because I wanted to create a place where people could come, read GOD'S WORD, be encouraged, and leave renewed and ready to conquer whatever that day may bring. It's sole purpose is to whisper love and encouragement into delicate and fragile hearts. I joined oDesk because I'd like to expand my horizons as a Writer and this seemed like the perfect place to do it.

Hardworking, honest & reliable virtual assistant

    Canada - Last active: 05/02/2014

I have work experience in the maintenance, hospitality, as well as human resource and administration fields. For the last two and a half years I have been engaged in full-time studies at Eston Bible College pursuing my bachelors of Biblical studies as a mature student. During my time as a student I also volunteered part-time at the College doing minor cleaning duties as well as working in the onsite library as a librarians assistant. Over the last few years as a student I have also been busy with many volunteer positions such as, teaching Sunday school, children's church and helping with the seniors at the local manor. At this time however, I am now ready to re-enter the work force, which would allow me to continue pursuing my studies in a part-time correspondence capacity on my own free time. I enjoy a challenge and adapt quickly to whatever challenges come my way. I am a highly organized individual and enjoy writing in my spare time.

    Writer and Editor

United States - Last active: 1 month ago

Writing is a passion for me, and I constantly look for opportunities to engage in this passion. As a teacher of ESL (English as a Second Language), I try to help my students express themselves via the written word. As a freelance writer, I thrive on assignments that allow me to help clients convey their messages via the web, speeches, social media, iMovies (book trailers, promotional videos, etc.), billboard campaigns, commercial spots, magazine articles, and other mediums. In addition, I am a published author, and created the blog in 2007. I have traveled extensively, and appreciate the differences in cultures and look for opportunities to write about travel, culture, and human nature. I believe that each day brings new experiences, and opportunities to speak to the masses through well written pieces. I'd love to help you do this for your particular message.

    Freelance Writer- Biblical Concepts

United States - Last active: 10 hours ago

Writing is one of my deepest passions and I have always loved picking up a pen or a computer to do so. To write as a career has always been a dream of mine and I am blessed to be able to do so when given the opportunity. Most of what I have written applies to biblical theology and devotional writing but I do enjoy taking part in some creative writing when given I am able to do so. I have spent a good portion of my life time developing my devotional style of writing and many who have read it have found it inspirational and encouraging. I have also spent a good amount of time developing my general writing style as well and others have found it very appealing and described reading as though I was a fly on the way and have found it very compelling. While my degree is in Biblical Studies I invested time in developing my talent through taking courses or freelance writing. As far as relevant experience, I have had my own blog for over five years and my devotional writing has been published several times on non-profit organizations websites, such as I will be self-publishing my first book in a few weeks on Amazon and am in the process of writing a Biblical Historical Fiction Series with my wife that should be ready for printing in the next year. Short stories are another writing avenue that I have enjoyed taking part in over the years. Most of them do not follow the biblical concepts approach I have adopted in my writing career. These have been some of my more imaginative works and when time allows I will be looking to devote more time to writing these stories and eventually getting them published. My biggest goal with my desire to write is to have published works of many different types that will reach others and inspire them to go and do as I have been able to do with whatever dream they may have. I am not looking to become famous or anything, I just want to share my gift with others.
